Job Responsibilities : Laboratory Manager – Clinical Laboratory

Schedule: Full Time – 80 Biweekly Hours
Shift: 8-hour, Days
Develops, directs, and coordinates laboratory policies and procedures for quality improvement, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, accreditation compliance and patient and employee safety. Provides leadership to achieve quality through continuous quality improvement and quality review. Collaborates in developing quality, regulatory, safety and point of care strategies within the Laboratory and /or service area. Identifies customer needs and develops, with the Management Team, quality programs to meet those needs. Functions as an expert on regulatory and compliance matters. Manages staff including recruitment, performance, development and discipline. Coordinates laboratory staff training and competency program. Oversees the Point of Care activity of the laboratory.
- Bachelor’s Degree Related field
- 3 years Sufficient experience in all areas of the laboratory.
- Licensed as a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- Master’s Degree.
- 1 year Supervisory experience
