Description

This is a part time position working evening shift on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for Heritage House in Seattle, WA on MLK Way.

This position will assist participants/residents/patients/clients who are functionally, physically and/or socially impaired with those activities of daily living agreed upon in their Service Plan, at the same time fostering independence, freedom of choice, and dignity and safety. The function of the position actively incorporates the Mission and Vision of Providence Health Systems.

Required qualifications:

  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
  • Upon hire: 70 hours Basic Training or within 120 days of hire
  • Upon hire: Mental Health Specialty Training or within 120 days of hire
  • Upon hire: Dementia Specialty Training or within 120 days of hire
  • 3 months of experience of long-term care or related geriatric and/or rehabilitative care

Preferred qualification:

  • 6 months of Assisted Living experience

Providence ElderPlace is located in Seattle, WA. The PACE (Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) keeps older adults as healthy as possible in the community by providing comprehensive health care and social services including: primary and specialty medical care, a day health program, social work services, rehabilitation, housing (if necessary) and much more. The Providence ElderPlace team of health care and social service professionals and our affiliates provide comprehensive integrated care to our participants.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
