Clinical Nurse Coordinator Registered Nurse – Advanced Ventilation Unit – ECMO
Full Time Days 7A-7P
Rotating Weekends
Under the general supervision of the unit’s director or designee the Clinical Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit or department.
Our Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. In our 18-bed Advanced Ventilation Unit, the Level 1 Trauma RN team delivers professional nursing care to (ECMO) Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation life support for patients with pulmonary/cardiac disease and injury. What you will need to be successful:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BSN required
- Current TX RN license or RN compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Certification in specialty required within 1 year
- Completion of charge nurse course required within 1 year
- Other leadership training and activity in processional organizations highly preferred
- 1+ years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/management experience is preferred
